17 Days Total Box Office Collection of Baahubali 2 including all Versions
Two weeks back released Hindi, Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam offering Baahubali 2 has created new record in the history of Indian cinema, it has become the biggest grosser of all time on domestic box office in just 17 days of release. Yes with this end of its second week, Prabhas Raju starrer this historical fiction has surpassed the lifetime total of Dangal’s 2016. With its phenomenal performance box office across the globe, the movie has surprised everyone and setting a new benchmark. This Indian historical fiction film co-written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli.
Baahubali 2 was produced by Tollywood studio Arka Media Works. It is the continuation of Baahubali: The Beginning, taking place before and after the events of that film. The film stars major actors from Tollywood industry with Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati in lead roles. Initially, both parts were jointly produced on a budget of 250 crore, however, the budget of the second part was increased later. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has made a record of highest pre-release business with 500 crore.
In the opening week, S.S. Rajamouli’s this recent presentation had recorded tremendous response and registered the impressive business of 534 crores from Indian screens, with 247 crores of Hindi and 287 crores of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions. Then in its second week too, Baahubali 2 remained excellent and did the business of 266 crores, including 143.25 crores from Hindi and 122.75 crores from Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam screens.
After 2 weeks, total domestic collection of the movie was recorded as 800 crores nett including 390.25 crores of Hindi and 409.75 crores of TTM versions. Now Baahubali 2 is running in the third week and again enjoyed higher occupancy in third weekend. On the 3rd Friday, it faced only 20% of drop than previous day and managed the amount of 18.30 crores including 10.05 crores of Hindi and 8.25 crores of TTM.
Then on Saturday, it witnessed superb growth and added the amount of 25.25 crores including 14.75 crores of Hindi and 10.50 crores of TTM. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie reported more growth and minted the amount of 31.10 crores* including 17.75 crores of Hindi and 13.35 crores* of TTM.
As per the report, it’s 16 days domestic total has become 874.65 crores nett including 432.80 crores of Hindi and 441.85 crores* of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions.
