Baaghi 2 17th Day Collection, Tiger-Disha Starrer Passes 3rd Weekend on a Good Note

After the two excellent weeks, Baaghi 2 has passed its third weekend as well on a good note and emerged the second highest grossing movie of the year so far. By entertaining the audience much, it remained rock-steady throughout at the box office and surpassed the lifetime total of superstar Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Baaghi 2 is the sequel to 2016’s much applauded Baaghi and was released with good recall value. As expected, it has received positive reviews from critics as well as audience and gained positive word of mouth.

Due to favorable waves over box office, Ahmed Khan’s recent directorial remained strong throughout the opening week and did the business of 112.85 crores that included 73.10 crores of weekend and 39.75 crores from 3500 screens across the country.

Then in the second week as well, Baaghi 2 showed good performance despite number of new offerings. It raked the business of total 35.60 crores with 22.50 crores of weekend and 13.10 crores of weekdays. After 2 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 148.45 crores.

Now it is running in third week and passed the third weekend on a decent note as the major audience has been diverted toward October now. On 3rd Friday, Baaghi 2 faced around 38% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 1.75 crore.

On the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, it showed decent growth and added the amount of 2.50 crores to it’s account. Then on Sunday, this action drama witnessed more growth and garnered the business of 2.95 crores. With this total collection of Baaghi 2 after 17 days of release, has become 155.65 crores at domestic box office.

Apart from Tiger Shroff, the film also stars Disha Patani, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Prateik Babbar, Darshan Kumar and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Ahmed Khan, who previously helmed films like Lakeer and Fool N Final.
