Baaghi Box Office Collection: 2nd Week Income Report
Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor- starrer ‘Baaghi’, which was released on April 29, is performing outstandingly at the Box Office, raking in Rs. 72.93 crore* till now. The film, which had collected Rs. 38.58 crore in the opening weekend, has become the third highest opener of 2016 after Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan (Rs 19.20 cr) and Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (Rs 12.35 cr). The movie, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, has earned over Rs 1.13 billion worldwide.
The film has been performing well so far. With excellent responses all over the country, the film even in its second week seems to be holding up well. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shorff in lead roles, it surpassed much of the expectations and predictions made before its release. Meanwhile, Territories like East Punjab, Delhi/UP are still performing outstandingly well with the other good numbers coming in from West Bengal, Mumbai belts.
In the opening week, it had reported the business o 59.72 cr and registered the third highest opening week collection of the year so far after Airlift and Fan. The first week total includes 38.58 cr of weekend and 21.14 cr of weekdays. In the second weekend, it faced little competition due to latest Hollywood release Captain America Civil War and minted the amount of 7.91 cr, that includes 2.31 cr of Friday, 2.43 cr of Saturday and 3.17 cr of Sunday. After the 10 days, total domestic collection of Baaghi was calculated as 67.63 cr.
Now Sajid Nadiadwala’s latest venture is once again running in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser response than weekend. With considerable drops in its business, it collection of amount of 1.38 cr on Monday and 1.21 cr on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it added the amount of 1.14 cr to its account. After 13 days of release, total collection of Baaghi is recorded as 71.36 cr on domestic box office. With a steady occupancy on the 2nd Thursday, Baaghi is managed to earn very respectable business of around 1.03 Crores*. On penultimate day of 2nd week, Sabbir Khan’s romantic thriller registered the occupancy around 25 to 30 % which is few % lower than previous day.
