This weekend (May 6 to 8) the box office witnessed a good trend of Bollywood and Hollywood movies. Bollywood movie “Baaghi” continued its dominance, while Hollywood movie “Captain America: Civil War” enjoyed a good run this weekend. Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer “Baaghi” minted Rs. 7.91 crore from the domestic box office in its second weekend. The action-romantic drama took its 10-day box office collection to Rs. 67.63 crore. “Baaghi” was the only Bollywood movie that dominated the box office this week. “#Baaghi [Week 2] Fri 2.31 cr, Sat 2.43 cr, Sun 3.17 cr. Total: ₹ 67.63 cr. India biz. ROCK-STEADY!” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.


After its second weekend, box office collection is Rs. 67.63 crore and at the end of its second week, the film will earn more than Rs. 71 crore. “Baaghi” will soon take over Sonam Kapoor’s “Neerja” and Fawad Khan-Sidharth Malhotra’s “Kapoor and Sons” box office collection. “Baaghi,” directed by Sabbir Khan, has turned out to be one of the most commercially successful movies of 2016. The film made on a budget of Rs. 47 crore has already earned net income of Rs. 67.63 from just the domestic box office and if the overseas collection, satellite and music rights, then the profit income would go up further.

Talking about the worldwide box office, “Baaghi” has successfully registered itself in the Rs. 100 crore club with its gross income of Rs. 112.87 crore. The Rs. 96.61 crore gross amount from India and Rs. 16.26 crore from the overseas market has taken its worldwide total to more than Rs. 112.87 crore. Meanwhile, after the success of “Baaghi,” the director has said that they are thinking of making a sequel. Baaghi continues its good run in its second week as the film as the film collected around 2.50 Crores* on its 11th day i.e. Second Monday at the box office. The second week will decide whether it can touch 100 Crores Club or not. The film shows has started dropping in week days.
