Baadshaho & Shubh Mangal Saavdhan 11th Day Collection at Domestic Box Office

Year’s one of the very much awaited movies, period drama Baadshaho has already passed its second weekend trial on a decent note and still has good hold over audience in weekdays. Being superstar Ajay Devgn starrer, it has been released with enormous buzz among his fans and as expected received very favorable response from audience across the country.

In the opening week, Baadshaho witnessed good occupancy and did the business of 64.14 crores from Indian screens, which included 43.30 crores of weekend and 20.84 crores of weekdays. Now it is running in its second week and still has good hold over audience. In the second weekend, as expected it showed decent jump in its business. Now the movie is running in its second week and still has good hold over audience despite heavy competition with adjacent release Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

In the second weekend also, Baadshaho reported good business of 7.73 crores, including 2.10 crores of Friday, 2.60 crores of Saturday and 3.03 crores of Sunday. After 10 days journey, total collection of the movie was recorded as 71.87 crores from Indian market. On its 2nd Monday Baadshaho faced almost 33% of drop and added the amount of 1.45 crores to its account. After its 11th day, total collection of the movie is recorded as 73.32 cr across India.

On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has showed more better performance in this weekend. After a good opening week with 24.03 crores of business, that included 14.46 crores of weekend and 9.57 crores of weekdays, it once again picked up very well. On 2nd Friday, RS Prasanna’s directorial collected the amount of 1.54 crore with around 26% of drop than Thursday.

Then on Saturday it witnessed 91.5% of jump and minted 2.95 crores. While on Sunday, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan bagged 3.34 crores and raised it’s 10 days domestic total to 31.86 crores. Though the collections have shown a real dip on Monday, from 3.34 crore to Rs 1.04 crore.

With this 11 days total domestic collection of the movie has become 32.90 crores. The figures are still pretty impressive for a small movie. Now the wait is to see how far the film goes. Given the fact that it was made at a small budget, the film has already recovered its investments if trade is to be believed.
