Ajay Devgn Ileana D’Cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jamwal’s recent offering Baadshaho has completed it’s one week journey at box office on a good note. Being much awaited, this action historical drama was released last Friday with much excitement of their fans as well as audience and as expected received favorable response them.
Milan Luthria’s directorial Baadshaho is his second collaboration with actors Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi after 2010’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. Baadshaho has every ingredient of making a perfect Bollywood popcorn masala entertainer. Though the movie was bashed by many critics, the public seems to be loving the film. It did not crash on Monday and has remained stable on weekdays.
In the opening weekend, directorial Milan Luthria this movie recorded very good occupancy throughout and did an impressive business of 43.30 crores from more than 2800 screens of India. The weekend total was including 12.60 crores of Friday, 15.60 crores of Saturday and 15.10 crores of Sunday.
Due to strong word of mouth, Baadshaho remained steady in weekdays. On Monday, it faced almost 43% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 6.82 crores. Then on Tuesday being normal working day, it faced more drop than previous day and added the amount of 6.12 crores.
With further drop in it’s business graph, Baadshaho minted the amount of 4.30 crores on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, the movie witnessed 15% of fall and garnered the business of 3.60 crores. With this, it’s one week total collection has become 64.14 crores on domestic box office.
After Kaabil, Hindi Medium and Jab Harry Met Sejal, Baadshaho has emerged as the tenth highest opening week grosser of 2017 so far. Fortunately there is not any buzzed Hindi movie is being released this Friday, so Ajay-Emraan starrer is all set to surpass the lifetime total of Hindi Medium (69.59 crores) in one more day and positively expected to cash the second weekend on a good note.
