Baadshaho 1st Day Collection, Ajay Devgn Starrer Takes Good Start

Due to initial hype, Baadshaho has witnessed almost good occupancy in theaters on the opening day. Milan Luthria’s Baadshaho opened to a decent start overall. Though it ruled the single screens, multiplexes were decent. Plus the hit-Jodi of Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgn was awaited since their first memorable outing in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.

The opening proves a thing that Ajay Devgn still has a strong pull when it comes to box office. On Friday, Milan Luthria’s directorial started the day with almost 30-35% of occupancy across the country and remained flat till the end due to Bakra Eid. As per the report, Baadshaho has witnessed overall lesser response than expected but done the good business of 12.60 crores on domestic box office and emerged as the seventh highest opener of the year so far.

Baadshaho has received brilliant opening and collected Rs 3.84 crore gross at the US box office in premiere shoes on Thursday. Hence, the multi-starrer was predicted to start with a bang and lead the race at the box office this week. Due to positive reactions of critics as well as audience, the movie is positively expected to remain strong on Saturday.

Baadshaho is released in 2800 screens across India. Film also has to fight it out with another significant release in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The movie features a Sanjay Gandhi lookalike called Sanjeev, a beautiful Rani named Geetanjali (portrayed by Ileana D’Cruz), a crafty bunch named Bhawani, Dalia, Tikla (Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Mishra, respectively) and sundry policemen.
