Ab Tak Chhappan 2 3rd Day Box Office Collection

ab tak chhappanNana Patekar’s comeback film, Ab Tak Chhappan 2 has started off averagely at the Domestic Box Office. The film collected Rs.1.50 crores on its first day and Rs.1.60 crores on Day 2 at the domestic box office. The movie stands at around Rs.3.10 crores at the Domestic Box Office. Given that the film has been given a decent screen count of around 1375 screens, the collections are quite low compared to it. The sequel has not met with good reviews from the critics and it will have to rely on positive word of mouth to pick up. It seems since the film was already made on a medium budget of 20 crores approx, it may find difficult to recover its costs. The film has been performing average at the multiplexes and especially since the other release Dum Laga Ke Haisha has surprisingly been high on word of mouth, this film may suffer. Thus, the movie is doing a good work on Box Office. With around 70-80% occupancy, during the evening shows, the movie was quite slow during the morning shows. Even the movies has earned good internationally also wherein it is expected to earn around Rs.1 crore outside India. With mixed response, the movie is on the real life story of Sadhu Ahashe, Mumbai Police Sub-Inspector and Mumbai Encounter Squad.

Ab Tak Chhappan 2 Sunday Box Office Income

The movie in the coming days will be doing a good work with earning around Rs1.55 crores on Sunday. On its 1st Weekend Business Ab Tak Chhappan 2 have earned Rs 4 crore that is not very good amount in current scenario. Nana Patekar is coming on-screen after a long time wherein he was very particular about his role in the movie which could through which he could connect with his audience. This flick with a serious issue and a serious star is quite symbolic which portrays the ideal work and style of an Indian Police Office which is quite paradoxical in our country otherwise. The movie had a tough competition with Ayushmann Khurana’s “Dum Laga Ke Haisha”. But contrary Nana Patekar’s movie received a better reviews as compared to the other one. The movie’s first part “Ab Tak Chhappan” was made in 2004 last time which also included Nana Patekar in the role of a tough cop. In the same ways, this movie also has a hot headed cop who is after the criminals with his full life and death.
