When we first heard that Varun Dhawan would be taking centrestage in his father’s remake of the classic Judwaa film, we all jumped up in joy. Dhawan is a spectacular actor and he can blend into any role with sheer precision and can even tickle your funnybones with his antiques. However, after hearing that a special appearance is being prepped by David Dhawan’s writers, Sajid and Farhad, for Salman, we’re convinced that it’s gonna be a kickass sequel. A leading tabloid has got a really good news for us where they are stating that Khan will be making a special appearance and that the script is being written in a certain way so as to fit his character. The source told them, “It’s a commercial film being planned on a grand scale with beach locations in the Mediterranean. The script is generously peppered with tapori slang and a remix of the chartbuster “Tan Tana Tan Tan Tan Tara“ from the original is in the works. The icing on the cake is that a special appearance is being written for bhaijaan. Salman has already agreed to step in as a ‘godfather-gunda’ to Varun’s twins.” Wait, so not one but several good news are trapped in this one quote!

I might be slightly distracted now as the song Tan Tana Tan Tan Tan Tara has already starting playing in my head. Salman is also very happy to learn that Dhawan will be playing him onscreen. While the first film had Khan in double role, one as a tapori and the other as a chivalrous gentleman, confirmation of him doing a similar bit in this sequel hasn’t been received yet. One of the writers of the film, Sajid stated, “Everyone, including David sir and Sajid (Nadiadwala) bhai are really excited about the film. We are still writing and exploring ideas. Nothing is confirmed yet. But who wouldn’t want bhaijaan in their film.”

It’s nice to see that after having worked with brother Rohit, he is soon going to work with father David. I mean, it’s a dream for anyone to be directed by their parents, right? A happy Varun even stated, “It’s a special film because in a career spanning over 50 films, my dad has explored every aspect of comedy, ranging from Shola Aur Shabnam, Aankhen and Raja Babu to Partner and our first film together, Main Tera Hero. Now, I want him to make a film from his heart. He has nothing to prove to anyone anymore.” Quite a Papa’s boy, this one! Excited, are we? Hell yeah! The film is slated to release in 2017, September. Stay tuned to this space for more gossips and latest updates.
