Raaz Reboot 6th Day Collection, Emraan Hashmi starrer Crosses 23 Cr as Domestic Total

Raaz Reboot Wednesday Box Office Collection

Raaz Reboot belongs to a franchise which has hardly done anything wrong at the box office. They have been serving the same plot in different packages since the first film Raaz hit the theatres. Haunting melodies, a ghost of the boyfriend’s past scaring the daylights out of the girlfriend and some sizzling scenes. It worked then and it worked always except in the case of Raaz Reboot which showed good numbers over the weekend and earned 3 crore in excess than expected in the first three days but lost momentum post that. The numbers are only dipping. In five days, the film has earned 22. 97 cr only.

Taran Adarsh, Trade Analyst, revealed the figures on Twitter saying, “#RaazReboot Fri 6.30 cr, Sat 5.49 cr, Sun 6.30 cr, Mon 2.61 cr, Tue 2.27 cr. Total: ₹ 22.97 cr. India biz.” As you can see, Monday took a severe dip with just 2.61 cr at the box office. Tuesday went down further with 22.97 crore. The film has failed to keep the momentum going. In fact, if you notice, it saw a drop on Saturday itself when numbers went down from 6.30 cr on Friday to 5.49 cr on Saturday. That’s a rarity which is a clear indication that the film hasn’t managed to interest the audience.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it again reported fall in its business graph and added the amount of 2 cr* to its account. After 6 days, total collection of Raaz Reboor is recorded as 24.97 cr* at domestic box office.  But even then Emraan Hashmi’s Raaz Reboot isn’t in a spot apparently if we go by its budget. As per the prediction, the movie is now at the position to rake near 27 cr in a week. There is a possibility that Raaz Reboot will manage to sail through at the box office because of its low budget.  There are reasons why Raaz Reboot became one of the lesser earning films of the franchise. As we told you, a lot of jokes were made on the title, which seemed like a next version for a laptop or a phone.

It was said that the makers went with this title, so that copyright issues don’t make things difficult for them. The biggest draw of the Raaz franchise was the music, which always helped bringing audience to the theatres. And then it’s an Emraan Hashmi film, so we did expect chartbuster songs. But not a single song stood out in the album. If we talk about the horror part, every scare came with a forewarning – ominous score – so we already know that something bad is about to happen. And then there is the fact that many of the scenes are lifted from Paranormal Activity, The Exorcist, and Vikram Bhatt’s own 1920 series.
