Rustom has Completed 7 Days Journey with Proud!
Last Friday released war thriller film ‘Rustom’ of superstar Akshay Kumar, has completed its 7 days journey at box office. The film was released on 12th of August with huge excitement of star fans as well as audience. Because of powerful content, brilliant performances and flawless direction, it has received super positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Audience find it very gripping and showed big thumb up to it. The lead star has given best performance of his career till date and is being praised for it by everyone.
Rustom has taken the box office by storm and has grossed excellent business figures through out the first week. In the opening weekend, it did the business of total 50.42 crores from Indian screens, that includes 14.11 crores of Friday, 16.43 crores of Saturday and 19.88 crores of Sunday. Now only in India but in overseas too, it has recorded overwhelmed response from audience and raked the business of 20+ crores from there in the weekend. Now it is running in weekdays but being holiday on Monday due to India’s 70th Independence Day, Rustom remained very strong and minted the amount of 17.81 crores.
On Tuesday, asusual it faced almost 46% of drop than Friday but still maintained a good pace and raked the business of 7.67 crores. On Wednesday, it faced slightly higher drop than expected but still stands good. It was added the amount of 6.38 crores to its account as its sixth day collection. On the last day of week, it witnessed almost similar response and done the business of 8.62 crores. Till the end of 7th day, total one week collection of the film is recorded as 90.90 crores from India only.
With this total, Rustom has dominated the opening week collection record of Akshay’s Rowdy Rathore (79.52 crores). As per the report, this true event based film has entered in 100 crore club at worldwide box office and heading smoothly to achieve the same on domestic box office too. From this Friday, one new film of different genres Happy Bhag Jayegi are being released.
