The first week collection of Dishoom was fairly good and it crossed the Rs 50 crore back in the opening week itself.  As the Varun Dhawan starrer completes second week at box office, the numbers continue to grow tremendously. In the second weekend, Dishoom made around Rs 10 crore, this is quite commendable. This weekend saw the release of films like Budhia Singh: Born to Run, The Legend of Micheal Mishra and Fever, which didn’t have much takers. This turned out to be an added advantage for Dishoom as viewers preferred to watch Varun and John’s bromance over the other three films.

Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the second week box office turnover of Dishoom. He says, “#Dishoom [Week 2] Fri 2.30 cr, Sat 3.40 cr, Sun 4.35 cr. Total: ₹ 63.39 cr. India biz. Now the movie is  once again running in weekdays and as expected getting lesser response than weekend. On its 2nd Monday it reported almost decent performance and raked the business of  1.50 cr as its 11th day collection.

On the next day, it faced slight more drop and added the amount of 1.30 cr to its account. After the 12th day, total collection of Dishoom is recorded as 66.19 crore on domestic box office. Dishoom is helmed by Varun’s brother Rohit Dhawan and also stars Akshaye Khanna in pivotal role. Akshay Kumar plays a special cameo in the film too. The movie revolves around the search operation for an Indian cricketer who goes missing in the Middle East.
