Varun Dhawan and John Abraham‘s Dishoom had blockbuster written all over it. It had the brawn, brains and beauty – classic elements to cash in at the box office. And so it did. After registering a good opening with 11. 05 cr, the film went on have a fantastic opening weekend with 37. 32 cr. Now after its first week and second weekend, the film has managed a good 63. 39 cr. But it still couldn’t beat Baaghi‘s total in the same duration. The Tiger Shroff film had earned 67. 63 cr in these many days.
You can see despite being on the second weekend, the film has managed to earn decent numbers to brings its weekend total to 10. 05 cr. That’s a good total given the fact that a slew of films released last Friday even though they weren’t big films. In its first week, the film had earned in 53. 34 cr. Check out the tweet here. But despite posting a good total, it fell short of Baaghi‘s total on its second weekend which was 67. 63 cr. Now it is running in the second week and due to no big release, the movie did the business of 10.05 crores in the weekend including 2.30 crores of Friday, 3.40 crores of Saturday and 4.35 crores of Sunday.
After the second weekend, total domestic collection of Dishoom was recorded as 63.39 crores. Once again, the movie is in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser response than before. On its 2nd Monday, it reported more than 45% of drop than last Friday and estimated to add the amount of 1.30 crore* to its account. With this, 11 days total collection of Dishoom will become 64.69 crores*across India.
