Akshay Kumar-starrer “Housefull 3” maintained a good pace at the worldwide box office by grossing over Rs. 100 crore in just four days. “Housefull 3” is the second film of the year to take its worldwide box office collection to more than Rs. 100 crore in just four days. Shah Rukh Khan’s “Fan” remains the fastest Rs. 100 crore grosser of 2016, thanks to its overseas box office collection. But “Housefull 3” will soon take over Shah Rukh’s “Fan” worldwide earnings with the help of its domestic box office collection.

“Housefull 3” has grossed Rs. 112.27 crore and by the end of the first week the collection will cross the Rs. 150 crore mark. The Sajid-Farhad directorial comedy-drama had a good hold on its fourth day at the domestic box office. The box office collection of the multi-starrer comedy drama dropped 45 percent on Monday, the fourth day, compared to the opening day collection.

“Housefull 3” minted Rs. 8.25 crore on Monday, which took its nett four-day total to Rs. 61.56 crore, while the gross income stands at Rs. 85.50 crore. If the film maintains a good hold at the box office, then “Housefull 3” might cross Rs. 80 crore mark in its first week. The first-week occupancy of “Housefull 3” is similar to Akshay’s last release “Airlift” and looking at its four-daytotal it is can be said that the film might emerge as the biggest first week grosser of 2016. “#Housefull3 Fri 15.21 cr, Sat 16.30 cr, Sun 21.80 cr, Mon 8.25 cr. “#Housefull3 held a STRONG grip, after a FANTASTIC weekend… Decline in biz: 45.76%… Yes, it has PASSED the crucial ‘Monday test.'” The fifth day collection of “Housefull 3” can be estimated to around 6.8 Crores*. Theatres have opened up to occupancy as much as 35% in Mumbai, 45% in Delhi for the morning and noon shows. Gurgaon, while had 30+% occupancy for the noon shows. Tuesday grants great offers for the cinema, and thus the occupancy is supposed to be higher by the time sun sets in.
