Arijit Singh’s public apology to Salman Khan!
Salman Khan is breaking Arijit Singh’s heart. There seems to have been a misunderstanding of sorts between the playback superstar and Sultan Salman Khan. Looks like Arijit got a bit desperate and took to social media to apologise to bhai for something that he said at a show, that Salman seems to have taken offence to. Basically the Tum Hi Ho singer is hoping that Salman won’t delete a song sung by him in his upcoming film Sultan. But it seems that due to this ‘tiff’ Salman has already decided to drop the number.
Now we all know that Salman’s not someone who makes his ‘issues’ public. Even Arijit Singh realised that, but only too late. He posted a long apology addressed to Salman on his personal Facebook page, and later deleted it, fearing a major backlash. His apology is quite heartfelt and we hope Salman is paying attention and not getting angrier about this whole deal.
In an exclusive interview with Indian Express, Arijit Singh spoke about his post, but didn’t divulge too many details. “I got to know about this couple of hours ago from the studio. That’s why trying to save it with the last possible way. Have been trying to meet him about this as well. Well he is really angry. But I hope things will be okay soon,” said Singh. He further states that he hasn’t reached out to Yash Raj Films, who would have made the call on whether to include his song or not, and has no clue who makes the decision. Salman Khan, on the other hand, has maintained silence on the matter.
Here’s a screen shot of the letter before it was deleted:
