Baaghi 10th Day Collection: 2nd Weekend Performance on Box Office

Baaghi 2nd Sunday Box Office Collection

Tiger Shroff’s “Baaghi” continued to keep the cash registers ringing at the Indian box office on its second Friday and Saturday. Its business has not been affected much by “1920 London.” The Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer, released on April 29, opened to massive response and went on strength to strength on the following days. “Baaghi” collected Rs. 59.72 crore nett at the Indian box office in its opening week. It became the third-highest first-week grosser among Bollywood movies in 2016, after “Airlift” and “Fan.”

Baaghi movie is running very well on its tenth day of release and is going ahead to become one of the most successful movie of this year. On tenth day i.e. second Sunday the movie also saw very good box office occupancy around 35-45% across the country. It is a big compliment for the film makers that they are gaining such a nice audience response even in the second week. Though it has seen drop from the first weekend but still the second weekend has also been outstanding in account of Baaghi as along with awesome second Friday and Saturday collections, the film earned marvelous income on second Sunday too.

“Baaghi” collected Rs. 4.74 crore at the Indian box office in these two days, taking its nine-day domestic total to Rs. 64.46 crore nett. As per the trends, “Baaghi” is expected to cross the mark of Rs. 75 crore at the Indian box office in its second week. Taran Adarsh tweeted: “#Baaghi remains STRONG. Now heading towards ₹ 75 cr… [Week 2] Fri 2.31 cr, Sat 2.43 cr. Total: ₹ 64.46 cr. India biz. SUPER! [sic]”. Today on 10th day of the total journey, the movie running much better but seems to face a drop from Baaghi first weekend collection. Sunday was observed with high occupancy and highest collection day after the first weekend of the film and was counted at 3.50 Crores*.

It shows very clearly that Baaghi is the first choice of the audience nowadays as they are neglecting the current releases like Lekar One Night Stand and Traffic which are quite helpless due to being affected by it. One more thing is that Baaghi snatched out the remaining audience from the biggie of this year holiday, which was doing well until the release of Baaghi. Finally Baaghi has to suffer weekdays and if it manages to do that then the film might do again mind blowing business in the third weekend
