Third Day Collection of Sanam Re
Critics slammed Divya Khosla Kumar’s directorial film “Sanam Re”, but the film managed to impress moviegoers. “Sanam Re” opened better than “Deadpool” and “Fitoor” at the domestic box office and minted Rs 5.04 crore on opening day. “#SanamRe Fri Rs 5.04 cr. India biz,” box office analyst Adarsh tweeted. Despite receiving negative reviews the film opened well, but it will be difficult for it to maintain the same pace on Saturday and Sunday. However, “Sanam Re” has an upper hand at the box office and might have a better opening weekend compared to the other two films.
The collection raised up a little on the second day but not like a movie generally do on the Saturday and windup collecting just 6.10 Crores*. Third day proved quite better as it is a weekend day- Sunday so most of the public is going to watch this film due to non availability of any other entertaining Bollywood film in theaters or multiplexes.
Till the end of 3 days, total collection of Sanam Re is calculated as 11.14 crores* on Indian screens. Today is its third day of release, even after being Sunday the movie has not showed any growth in its business. As per the report, today’s collection of Sanam Re is recorded as 6.30 crores*. With these figures first weekend total collection of the movie has become 17.44 crores*, which is not impressive.
Sanam Re box office collections will definitely get a Valentine’s Day weekend boost as trends over the years show that couples look for new movies to watch in and around this period and filmmakers too target it with relevant content – has to be full of romance. For them, the list for Valentine’s Day includes a movie at a theatre as a must-watch.
