Fitoor Tickets Booking in Advance

Fitoor is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced bySiddharth Roy Kapur and is based on Charles Dickens’ novel Great Expectations. The film features Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaifand Tabu in leading roles. The film is scheduled for release on 12 February 2016. Amit Trivedi composed the songs with Komail Shayan and Swanand Kirkire, who wrote the lyrics. Hitesh Sonik composed the film’sscore. The first song “Yeh Fitoor Mera” sung by Arijit Singh was released on January 7, 2016. The second song “Pashmina” was released on January 14, 2016. The music rights have been acquired by Zee Music Company.  The advance booking of the film commenced partially in India on Monday. The pre-booking counter for “Fitoor” opened on Monday in some of the single screens and multiplexes with good responses.

Circuits including National Capital Region (NCR), Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata and others started seeing bookings within hours. Several shows of “Fitoor”, especially in NCR, Mumbai and Pune region, have already started to fill up and hence, the movie is expected to have a good opening day at the box office. The weekend booking too has not yet taken a big leap. A lot of multiplexes are yet to open their windows for advance bookings and hence Delhi, Bangalore are showing a dull opening so far. Fans can book their tickets from the online ticketing websites-BookMyShow.com, FastTicket.in or TicketNew.com or can directly book it from the theater after the opening of pre-booking.

The advance of “Fitoor”, which opened partially on Monday, has now opened in all the theaters in India. And within less than 24 hours, the film has received phenomenal response at both, single screens and multiplexes. Not only opening day, but the opening weekend tickets of “Fitoor” are also sold out in several theaters. The advance booking status has witnessed 70 percent occupancy, with most of the first day shows is being sold out. Distributors and exhibitor are positive that “Fitoor” will do phenomenal business in India.

Talking about its budget, “Fitoor” is a moderate budget movie and is expected to be made on a budget of Rs 35+ Crore.  Distributors also say that “Fitoor” first week tickets will be sold out, if the buzz remains the same. The film will hit screens worldwide in more than 1800+ screens on 12th Feb. In India, the film will be released in approximately 1800 screens*, while in overseas, it will be released in around 100+ screens*.
