Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift” is unstoppable at the worldwide box office. The film, based on a real-life story, has grossed more than Rs 223 crore worldwide in three weeks, successfully registering itself in the superhit films list. “Airlift” earned approximately Rs 124 crore net (Rs 178.56 crore gross) from the domestic box office and close to Rs 45 crore from the overseas box office. After 21-days, the worldwide business of the film stands at Rs 223 crore, Koimoi.com reports. The Raja Menon directorial had a decent third weekend, but the collection started to fall after that.

Overall, “Airlift” is one of the most successful Bollywood films of all time. It is Kumar’s second highest grosser, after “Rowdy Rathore,” and has made a profit of around 210 percent at the box office. “Airlift” was released on Jan. 22, along with adult comedy “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3”. The film, based on the biggest evacuation of Indians in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait Gulf war.

As per report, the film has already crossed the mark of 200 crore at worldwide box office including shares. Now it is running in the fourth week and as expected getting very low response due to new releases. On its fourth Friday, the film had witnessed lower response than Thursday and raked the amount of 0.51 crore*. On the next day being Saturday, Airlift showed slight rise and added 0.65 crore* to its account as its 23rd day collection. Till the end of the day, total domestic collection of the film is recorded as 125.36 crores*, Boxofficecollecion.in reports.

Today is the 24th Day of Airlift at Box Office, and being a holiday there is some hope of increment in its collection. But as per the occupancy report and estimation, Airlift today’s figure is 0.90 Crore* only. Now the total collection of Airlift in India is 126.26 Crore*. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, it stars Nimrat Kaur, Purab Kohli, Kumud Mishra and Prakash Belawadi in pivotal roles.
