The latest Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur starrer Airlift which has enjoyed the best collection in the 2nd weekend in comparison of any movie released in 2015. The occupancy on 12th day for war thriller is around 30 to 35 % which is best in all the three days of 2nd weekend. Airlift has started the 2nd Tuesday on a positive note. On Sunday, the movie saw fabulous growth everywhere right from single screens to high end multiplexes. The growth was simply phenomenal. The movie has dropped only around 50 % or even less from its first weekend business which is outstanding for a film is today’s times.

The occupancy in early shows of 2nd Tuesday for this movie is better than previous weekdays. The film did the total business of 83.50 crores in its first week from India, that includes 44.30 crores of weekend and 39.20 crores of weekdays. Now it is running in the second week and still getting well at box office, in the second weekend it raked the business of 19.26 crores that includes 4.50 crores of Friday, 6.50 crores of Saturday and 8.26 crores of Sunday.

Till the end of  weekend total collection of Airlift was recorded as 102.76 crores on domestic and 35.23 crores on overseas box office. Once again it has entered in weekdays and started getting lower response. On Monday, the film witnessed the drop of more than 50% and minted the amount of 3.65 crores* on Indian screens. Till the end of the day, total collection of Airlift is recorded as 106.41 crores*. It is expected to gross near about 115 crores till this week.

Today the film made a good attempt of returning back in the race and showed nice performance by collecting 4.25 Crores* by the end of day. In its second week, Aiflift is running in around 2550+ screens which are quite big a number. The second weekend box office collection of Airlift is way ahead of Mastizaade and Saala Khadoos and the movie is likely to break many more records of box office.
