Dilwale 24th Day Box Office Collection
Rohit Shetty’s directorial second collaboration with superstar Shahrukh Khan, ‘Dilwale’ has already lost almost all its hold over audience and now just crawling to add more figures to its account on box office. The movie was released three weeks ago on 18th of December among huge craze of fans as well as audience. Critics have also reviewed it with positive comments and showed thumbs to it. But still it was slowed down from the weekdays and failed to maintain its pace on Indian box office, as a result the historical love story Bajirao Mastani that was release on the same day, has dominated it before the end of the second week.
Now Dilwale is at the fifth position among 2015’s top highest grosser movies, whereas Bajirao Mastani has acquired the third one. Till yet Dilwale has grossed near about 146.50 crores on Indian screens and in few days it will become the fourth highest grosser of year 2015 after dominating Tanu Weds Manu Returns. From overseas screens, it is excellent business and has collected more than 150 crores from there. This weekend would not be easy for it to fight, as new emotional drama movie Wazir of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar is being released this Friday. Wazir is the first big movie from Bollywood this year, so viewers are looking bit excited for it.
It has done the business of 146.68 crores in last three weeks on Indian screens, that includes 102.65 crores of first week, 32.56 crores of second week and 11.47 crores of third week. The movie has added the low amount of 0.80 crore to its account on its fourth Friday. On the second day of fourth week, as expected Bajirao Mastani has witnessed low response in India but higher than Rohit Shetty’s directorial Dilwale. They have raked the amounts of 1.65 crore* and 0.60 crore* respectively as their 23rd day collection. The film today i.e. on its 24th day of release collected overall amount of 1.50 Crore*. If Bajirao Mastani keeps this pace over the fourth week end also, then it has high chances of breaking more records.
