Bajirao Mastani 16th Day Collection – 3rd Saturday Business Report

Bajirao Mastani 16th Day Collection

Bajirao Mastani box office collections have put in perspective how Ranveer Singh has broken the industry mould and made a rousing success of it in every way and this underlines his achievements as today, in Bollywood, an actor is as good as his last release. From Gunday, Dil Dhadakne Do, Kil Dil to Lootera and more, check out how far each of these movies took Ranveer Singh. Ranveer Singh made his debut back in 2010 with Band Baaja Baaraat and he has been on a roll ever since, with his releases soaring to new highs at the box office. Take a look at Ranveer Singh’s career graph in terms of lifetime collections of his films at the box office. Interestingly, Ranveer Singh may be one of the few actors’ whose collections have collectively crossed the Rs 500 crore mark.

Till the end of its 14th day, total 2 weeks collection of Bajirao Mastani was recorded as 141.50 crores on Indian screens. Now the film has entered in the third week and expected to show decent performance in this weekend too, as it did in its second weekend. On its third Friday, Bajirao Mastani has witnessed almost similar response as Thursday due to no new release this week. It has grossed the amount of 4.95 crores* as its 15th day collection and made its domestic total as 146.45 crores*. With his last release Bajirao Mastani collecting Rs 146 crore till date Ranveer has a total of Rs 520+ crore* to his name in terms of box office collections.

The film has now turned out to be a grand finale for everyone involved with Bajirao Mastani, including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. 2016 has kick-started and it is time now for a new beginning for all. Bajirao Mastani has proven that if backed by good content and right marketing, promotion and release, a well made film can defy all odds and turn out to be a good scorer commercially. The film showed an expected drop of around 35% from its second Thursday which is a normal drop or even better when compared to other film (Dilwale). Film is looking at a satisfactory level to start good third weekend of around 13 Cr plus if it shows normal growth on Saturday and Sunday.

Bajirao Mastani for the first time has some competition at the box office in the form of one new releases this week Killing Veerappan but seeing the response to these new films it’s clear that in its third weekend also Bajirao Mastani will rule at the box office as it was doing in the past two weekends. Additionally, Bajirao Mastani is giving competition to other films even in its third weekend, which is a very progressive and impressive fact. As we has stated earlier that Bajirao Mastani will cross over many records, this is going fairly true as the film is still making handsome collections on box office. Expected 3rd Saturday Box Office Collection of Bajirao Mastani is around 4 Crores* at domestic box office.
