The trailer of much awaited film ‘Airlift’ is out and it’s going to give you goosebumps! One of the biggest films of 2016, ‘Airlift’, stars Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in the lead roles. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the film tells the true story of India’s biggest air evacuation mission in Kuwait during Iraq invasion. In many interviews Akshay Kumar had revealed his motive of bringing the lesser known heroic act by Indian government in 1990 and wants every Indian to feel proud and motivated by it. The film also stars Puarb Kohli and is all set to release on January 22. his movie which is based on Biggest Evacuations of Indians based in Kuwait during the Kuwait- Iraq war. Akshay Kumar pairs with Nimrat Kaur in this movie and the movie has already gained immense expectations since the time the movie was announced.  Akshay Kumar who is having a huge fan base in Bollywood is expected to do well in this movie. He has done these kind of films before like Holiday and Baby which connected well with the audience.

This movie is also expected to do the same as many of the Indians do not of what has happened during that war. The film takes us back into 1990 where Iraq invaded Kuwait and the invasion resulted in seven long months of Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Nearly 1,70,000 Indians were stuck by that Invasion and One among the characters is played by Akshay Kumar who would be happy family man with his loving wife Nimrat Kaur. This mission is termed as the most heroic mission of India for Indians. Akshay Kumar is a perfect choice for this kind of movies which will resemble Indian Missions. The music is composed by Amaal Malik and Ankit Tiwari. Priya Seth is the Cinematographer, Hemanti Sarkar has handle the Editing Department. The movie is made with a budget of Rs.30 Crores and is distributed by Prateek Entertainments.
