Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer “Tamasha” nears its Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office, while Salman Khan’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” is also set to achieve that status at the overseas box office. Ranbir-Deepika starrer “Tamasha” has earned more than Rs 62 crore from the domestic box office, while from the overseas box office the film has minted approximately $5.53 million (Rs 36 crore) till the second weekend. The 10-day worldwide box office collection of “Tamasha” now stands at Rs 98 crore. “Tamasha” should be able to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office by its 12th day at the box office. “Tamasha” has fared decently at the overseas box office, which helped the film come close to the century club. Tamasha caters to multiplex audiences which is a niche market in the country whereas Hate Story 3 coming from the erotic thriller genre performed better at single screens too. Tamasha is expected to fold soon as next week the big releases of Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani will hit theaters soon.

Tamasha 2nd Wednesday Box Office Report

Tamasha has now started falling on the box office due to weekdays and low audience response these days and the second Wednesday collection of film is 0.80 crore approx. Where few viewers are not finding any fact regarding film to watch it now along with it some viewers did say that the film is a total package of entertainment including romance along with such a fantastic music. Tamasha is also marked as the most successful movie of actor Ranbir Kapoor in 2015. The year has not come out in much favor to him, as his last two movies Roy & Bombay Velvet were flop. As per critics, the collection of Tamasha is not very good as compare to its star power. On the other side film has also been facing difficulties in attracting audience in its second week. with completion of 2 weeks tomorrow it is expected to lose most of the business in the coming weekend and week due to other films releasing coming Friday.
