Dilwale 2nd Day Box Office Collection
Dilwale has had a very good first day with collections of 21 crore nett as per early estimates. The film was also affected by some disruptions in Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat but still its a big number going by the release. A full out release could have seen a 35 core nett number on a non holiday or at least very close to it. The film has scored very well in South India and East India. The numbers in Nizam / Andhra, Mysore, Tamil Nadu / Kerala, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Orissa are excellent as release was a bit more normal with number of screens near to what it would have got normally. South India and West Bengal are also due to the Shahrukh Khan factor. Also, Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol pair’s much-awaited Dilwale is creating history by garnering a record opening day gross collection in the UAE.
The film gathered a gross collection of about $900,000 from the UAE market, the best recorded ever for a Bollywood flick, on its first day from there. The amount is calculated to be ahead of Hollywood movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ first day collection by 60 per cent and by 400 per cent to Ranveer Singh and Dipika Padukone’s Bajirao Mastani which also hit the screens on Friday. The DDLJ Jodi who is the best pair of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are teaming up after 5 years for this anticipated flick. Fans and audience are eagerly waiting for this movie from the last couple of months and finally, Dilwale came to theaters all over India and overseas in a huge number of screens.
Dilwale was released in more than 3500 plus screens all over the globe and in India only it has been released in 760 screens in all states. As per trade reports, Dilwale movie 1st day & 2nd collections from USA, Dubai, Australia and Canada countries is huge and reports said that it has crossed the collections of SRK previous film under Rohit direction “Chennai Express”. Dilwale movie has set good records in the box office list by making a commendable business on its first day and increased pace on its second working day too. Film is doing far well on its second day of release.
According to the reports on the views and reviews of the audience, cost of the tickets was satisfyingly recovered from the movie. Dilwale has gained lot of business overseas also and in its second day it made a business of around 24.33+ Crores* domestically which is very awesome figure. This movie is expected to turn over an amount of around 40 Crores on Sunday as this is the end of the weekend and at most end of the year. Third day box office collection is estimated to grow higher and peak heights in the upcoming days of its business
