After “Bajirao Mastani”, “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” and “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”, “Dilwale” has crossed the Rs 200-crore mark. In India, “Dilwale” box office collection has slowed down. Unlike “Bajirao Mastani”, the collection of “Dilwale” remained on the lower side on its second Friday.

“Dilwale” collected just Rs 8.11 crore on its second Friday, despite it being a holiday across the country.  The eight-day box office income of “Dilwale” now stands at Rs 110.76 crore. With “Dilwale”, Varun Dhawan has shattered the records of his highest grosser “ABCD 2”. “Dilwale” is now Varun’s highest grosser and the second film to cross Rs 100 crore. Rohit Shetty’s directorial is also the 29th-highest grosser of all time. The film, which is the fourth highest earner of 2015, is now aiming to beat the record of “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”.

The film released on 18 December worldwide along with Ranveer Singh’s “Bajirao Mastani”. After knowing the film performance and audience response on its 10th day of release, now the viewers must be desperate to know the box office collection done by it today. To end the suspense; second Sunday i.e 10th day total earning of Dilwale stands at near 8.50 Crores* & its second weekend income stands at around 127.36 Crores*. This is really a compliment for the film and they must be feeling very happy after seeing the 10 days performance report of this film.

Despite of other Bollywood movies in the option like Bajirao Mastani & Star Wars (Hindi), major part of the audience still went for watching Dilwale other than these movies. One can clearly see the public’s craze for their superstar in the form of high income in spite of low performance as per expected. The romantic action movie starring Shah Rukh and Kajol also features Varun and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
