Singh Is Bling 1st Day Occupancy – Delhi, Mumbai & Gujarat Collection Report

Singh Is Bliing (SIB) 1st Day Occupancy Report

Singh Is Bling is looking at a good opening at the box office The film had a very strong advance in Delhi and Punjab and this sort of advance has never been seen for an Akshay Kumar starrer in any circuit since the days of Singh Is Kinng and Welcome. Singh Is Kinng was a record opener becoming the first film in history to cross 7 crore nett on the first day. Welcome was also a record opener in real terms (comparing the places where it did open) but as it was not released on multiplexes until day two the numbers did not come. The single screen advance on Monday in Delhi city was fantastic with 60-70% tickets going for Friday on Monday itself. The multiplexes on Wednesday also saw strong sales. The advance is slower in Mumbai but that is sort of expected as its a North film but the holiday should help. The figures in the Gujarat / Saurashtra belt will be the key for a big first day number.

Singh Is Bliing Collection Prediction

The film may have Northern content but its a comedy genre which score well in this market and films record big numbers in Gujarat / Saurashtra on this holiday so a 2 crore nett total here is a must, preferably 2.50 crore nett plus. There is a cricket match featuring India in the afternoon but hopefully that won’t hit the film much. All of this means that Akshay Kumar is now all set to get not just his biggest collections of the year so far, but also his career. His Gabbar Is Back (13.05 crore) opened well while Brothers(15.2 crore) had created record for his biggest opening ever, while leaving behind Rowdy Rathore (15.1 crore). Now Singh Is Bliing, with the mass appeal that it carries, should comfortably cross this mark, and would be aiming for a Day One of 20 crore. For Prabhudhevatoo, the film is important as it brings him back with Akshay Kumar after Rowdy Rathore, which means he too is set for his biggest opener till date.
