Anushka Shetty’s Rudramadevi (Rudhramadevi) is gathering decent collections at the box office. This movie managed to beat NTR’s Temper and Gopala Gopala records at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office. Rudramadevi became one of the top five biggest Tollywood openers of 2015 as of now. This movie managed to collect Rs 11.70 Crore at the AP/T box office on its opening day. According to the latest trade reports, it is heard that Rudramadevi collected Rs 10.60 Crore in Andhra Pradesh and Rs 15.50 Crore in Telangana in its first weekend. Now, it has become the fourth highest grosser in the first weekend and it has beaten the records of Gopala Gopala, Temper and Kick 2 that collected Rs 13.50 Crore, Rs 16.72 Crore respectively. Rudramadevi collected Rs 25+ Crore within four days of its release. Rudramadevi was released in nearly 1000 screens across AP and Telangana on October 9th. This movie is gaining good collections and the tax exemption in Telangana has added an advantage.

Anushka Shetty’s performance, Allu Arjun’s terrific presence and dialogues are the highlights of this movie. Gunasekhar succeeded in bringing an epic movie. This film is on its way in creating records at the box office and it is beating the old records and creating new records at the worldwide box office. Meanwhile,  This movie is gaining a tremendous response from the audiences in India as well as overseas. Some reports say that this movie showed over 50% drop in its weekdays. Traders and distributors are predicting that this movie will enter into an elite club in few days. Now it has entered in weekdays and as expected started facing heavy drops in its business. On Tuesday, Rudhramadevi recorded the occupancy of only 30-40% in theaters of AP/T and raked the business of only 3.10 crores* as its fifth day collection. The movie has witnessed the drop of around 60% across the state and reported similar condition in other states too.
