Rudramadevi 3rd Day Box Office Collection
Gunasekhar’s “Rudhramadevi” (Rudramadevi/Rudrama Devi) has made superb collection at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office on its first day. It has become the sixth biggest opener of 2015. “Rudhramadevi”, which was delayed for more than 1 year, was released in around 1,000 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on 9 October. The first show started at 1.30 am in Sri Ramulu 70 MM, Moosapet Hyderabad. Its first screening started at 5.00 am and 6.00 am in several areas. It garnered positive response from the audience. The movie witnessed huge amount of footfalls in these early morning shows. The Anushka Shetty starrer had a massive advance booking for its opening day. “Rudhramadevi” received an overwhelming response with its average occupancy crossing 90% in the later shows. The movie ran to packed houses in many centres in both the states. The film did very good business in both single screens and multiplexes everywhere. As per early estimates, the Gunasekhar-directed period movie has grossed Rs 5.35 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Rs 6.35 crore in Telangana on Friday. “Rudhramadevi” has collected a total of Rs 11.70 crore at the AP/T box office on its first day. Its opening day net collection stands at Rs 9.17 crore. It should be mentioned that the film has been made tax free in Telangana. “

Yesterday, on its second day also, the movie has done almost same business of around 10.97 crores* from AP, Telangana and nearby regions. Meanwhile, film released on Friday with good response and now third day being Sunday it reported nice collection figures and occupancy overall. Total Income of movie on Sunday i.e. third day is around 12.50 crores* from AP and Telangana. Audience response towards the movie is overall good but some didn’t find it up to the mark. May some were expecting more better from their favorite star Allu Arjun, Anushka Shetty or from its director Gunasekher. But even after having few negative reviews, the business of Rudramadevi has not affected. Audience showed thumbs up to the entire starcast for their performance and also eternal love for their favorite Allu Arjun that we can seen in movie’s business figures. “Rudhramadevi” has become the sixth biggest opener of the year after “Baahubali”, “Srimanthudu”, “Temper”, “S/o Satyamurthy” and “Gopala Gopala”. The movie has also turned out to be the ninth all time biggest opener Telugu film.
