Welcome Back 5th Day Box Office Collection
The comedy film ‘Welcome Back’ which is a sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Welcome’ seems to be making a good mark at the box office. The multi starrer film which made the audience laugh out loud previously is yet again showing the same effect. The movie ‘Welcome Back’ has crossed its first weekend smoothly and the collection is impressive. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the comic movie ‘Welcome Back’ on its first day of release i.e. Friday managed to collect Rs. 14.35 crore net. The stupendous collection on Friday surely paved way for a high earning weekend. The film with its upward trend managed to show good results on Saturday too with the collection of Rs 17.05 crore net. The second day of release was surely a good day for the film. The prime reason for the success of the sequel is said to be its prequel, the prequel witnessed some iconic characters played by actors Anil Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Nana Patekar. The film witnessed great amount of audience in the theaters. Coming to the third day of release i.e. Sunday, ‘Welcome Back’ again showed some astonishing collections earning Rs. 19.60 crore net. The total collection Welcome Back garnered for its first weekend is Rs 51 crore net. The film has surpassed all expectations and has also witnessed positive word of mouth publicity.
Welcome Back Tuesday Business Report
It has done outstanding business in the 1st weekend and much higher than expectations. This latest romantic comedy package is doing too well in weekdays too and thus collected around 6.15 Crores on its fifth day of release. It is a very good and watchable movie with all the elements in it of an entertaining Bollywood movie. The central characters of Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal proved to be the crowd pullers for the film. The prequel featured actors Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in main leads however ‘Welcome Back’ features actors John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in main lead roles. Absence of Akshay and Katrina surely did not affect the film’s collections. With a head start weekend collection, it can be predicted that the weekdays will also see high number of audience at the screens. Now this isn’t something that anyone expected from this franchise affair that was coming eight years after first in the series, Welcome (2007). The popularity which Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal starrer has enjoyed over the years rubbed well into the second in the series as well.
