Welcome Back 4th Day Box Office Collection
John Abraham starrer ‘Welcome Back’ box office collections have soared to Rs 51 crore by day 3. The movie collected Rs 14.35 cr on day 1 making it the third biggest opener of 2015 after Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which had raked in Rs 27.25 crore, and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Brothers’, which had minted Rs 15.2 crore on release day. The movie also moved ahead of ‘Gabbar Is Back’ and ‘ABCD 2′ collections. On day 2 ‘Welcome Back’ collected as much as Rs 17.05 crore at the box office and on its day 3, the film collected Rs 19.60 crore – three day (opening week) total box office collections stand at Rs 51 crore. It was predicted that ‘Welcome Back’, which did not have any other big films clashing with it at the box office, could reach the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office in its first weekend itself and that is exactly what it achieved. Other than Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the only other Hindi film to have managed a weekend of over 50 crore this year is Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra’s Brothers [52.08 crore].
