Welcome Back 13th Day Box Office Collection

John Abraham has every reason to be ecstatic. After all, fans of the actor have welcomed him back with wide-open arms. John’s Welcome Back, which hit the screens on September 4, has been met with much applause from audiences all over the country. And as of now, the box office collection of Welcome Back is nearing the Rs 100-crore mark. The film had opened to a whopping Rs 14.35 crore at the India box office, making it the third highest opener of 2015. Apart from Welcome Back this year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Brothers have seen massive opening figures at the box office in the country. In its first weekend itself, Welcome Back crossed the Rs 50-crore mark by netting an amount of Rs 51 crore in India. And as of now, the film is steadily marching towards the Rs 100-crore club. The film is expected to enter the coveted club in its second week. Welcome Back has managed to keep up a good pace and had a decent second weekend. After making a business of 12.40 crores in its 2nd weekend, on its second Monday, the film collected 1.70 crores, thus taking its total to 88.12 crores at the domestic box office. A sequel to the 2007 Welcome, this Anees Bazmee film received mixed to positive reviews from critics.

Welcome Back 2nd Wednesday Business Report

Today being 13th Day or 2nd Wednesday and Trade expecting the Movie box office collection to be around Rs 1.25 crore* . Anyhow, the film is heading towards the 100 crore mark in its second week. The film is performing better than its prequel. The Anees Bazmee film had a decently popular music but mainly performed well thanks to its comic content. Also being a family entertainer, Welcome Back enjoyed good footfalls over its first and second weekend. The film sees John Abraham on the big screen after a gap of two years. His last film, Madras Cafe, hit the theatres in 2013. In addition to Abraham, Welcome Back stars Shruti Haasan in the lead role. Actors Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal reprise their roles from the original, and Naseeruddin Shah, Shiney Ahuja, Dimple Kapadia and Ankita Shrivastava are the new names in this edition of the action comedy. This week’s release, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty’s Hero, hasn’t been able to provide much competition to Welcome Back.
