After MSG- The Messenger, Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, has come up with its sequel, MSG 2 and had better collection on second day (Saturday) than its opening day. As Dera spokesman Aditya Insan has said, “Exhibitors were given less number of shows in view of another release ‘Katti Batti’, but seeing the response from the public the number of shows are likely to increase on week end,” Interestingly, according to the reports, his words proved right and after fetching the amount of approximately Rs 6 crores on its opening day (Friday), Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s MSG 2, collected approximately Rs 8 crores on the second day of its release, which is quite good. Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan has co-directed, lent music and lyrics and also written the film himself, which is the primary reason to cater its target audience, especially his Bhakt-jans. In fact, the hash-tag of #MSG2RockInCinemas is also trending on Twitter, since its release. MSG 2 is the sequel of MSG The Messenger of God that was released earlier in this year.

The prequel was witnessed the massive business at box office and was registered many records to it account. Movie’s latest installment has released on around 2000 screens and getting overwhelmed response from millions of devotees across the country. The advance booking received phenomenal response, thanks to the controversies. At several theaters in Mumbai, the response for “MSG 2” is better than “Katti Batti”. Also, the reviews, though negative, will work in the favour of the film.  It is Sunday today and to say it is third day for MSG 2, but the total income of three days now is higher than that which would have been earned by it if the film would have released with any Bollywood normal celeb star lead. Unexpectedly third day total collection is around 10.50 crores* making its first weekend income to be nearly 24.50 crores*.
