Hero Eighth 8th Day Collection – 2nd Friday Box Office Income Report

Hero 8th Day Box office Collection

Launching two new faces, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, Salman left no stones unturned to promote them as the upcoming stars of Bollywood. Salman organised musical concerts, recorded a song in his own voice and even promised autographed tickets to fans. But alas, his efforts seem to be failing as Hero is showing a steep downward trend at the box office. After making merry at the box office on the opening weekend, raking over Rs 21.1 crore, there has been considerable dip in the collections over the weekdays. ” #Hero Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 6.62 cr, Sun 7.63 cr, Mon 3.03 cr, Tue 2.45 cr, Wed 2.15 cr, Thu 2.14 cr. Total: Rs 30.87 cr. Despite being a holiday on the account of Ganesh Chaturthi, Hero could not pick up its declining box office figures, earning Rs 2.14 crore on Thursday. And now with Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut’s Katti Batti sure to attract crowd, the box office fate of Sooraj and Athiya’s Hero doesn’t look too good. The film can take solace from the fact that it has managed to surpass the lifetime collections of Nikhil’s last release D-Day [30 crore] within one week flat. Also, unlike numerous newcomer films that gets lost in the oblivion without much of a fight, this one – albeit being backed by Salman Khan and Eros – has managed to make some noise en route its release at the least.

Hero 2nd Friday Business Report

The industry too now has newer options for leading hero and heroine in the form of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. Yes, a clean HIT would have pleased all involved with the film but still, it isn’t a bad deal after all for Hero to head for that 40 crore mark. The film is doing exceptionally well in Rajasthan, CP-Berar, Gujarat and CI belts throughout the first week. The movie was quite good in Maharashtra belts especially in cities like Pune, Mumbai etc. The action and music of the film has worked big time it seems. The movie has been made on a budget of 28 Crores (inclusive of all) and has already recovered its cost in the first weekend. 8th day has brought good figures in the side of Hero and total 2nd Friday box office collection of Hero is 1.95 Crores* which is good than even the latest released flicks. The movie was average in north belts and below par in Mysore and West Bengal but the collections in Mumbai, Mass belts including Central Belts have helped the movie notch a very good business throughout the week days. It may do quite well in the next two days due to weekend time.
