Hero 3rd Day Box Office Collection
Hero was flat on day two with business likely to be around 6.25 crore nett. The overall business in two days of nearly 13.47 crore nett is decent but the failure to grow on Saturday may make it tough in the long run. The business failed to grow much in North India multiplexes which was a must as it had low collections there on Friday. The multiplexes in North India sustain the best so these become very important if the film is to go anywhere especially when there is only a one week window. The film is doing best in areas which tend to fall quicker. The weekend will still get a healthy total of over 20 crore nett but it is all about what happens after. Heropanti last year had a 6.50 crore nett day one, then a 21 crore nett weekend and lifetime of 51 crore nett so the film can’t be written off just yet but it has to be noted that Heropanti had no competition whatsoever while this has a good holdover with Welcome Back and a major release next week. All the songs of the movie are very nice and are in the hit chartbusters. Ironically, Hero is facing challenge from Eros’ own Welcome Back that released last week. On the other hand next week, it would be Nikhil Advani’s Katti Batti that would hit the screens.
Hero Sunday Box Office Collection
As the film opened very well two days back and it was the main weekend day today for it, so there were big expectations form the movie. And, on the good note film did really awesome business today and stood at the lead on the box office at the end of the day. Overall Sunday has shown very favorable results for Hero and total 3rd Day Box Office Collection of Hero is 7.50 Crores*. The movie Hero is getting nice views by the audience or people so it is expecting that the movie can generate more and can enhance its earning on the next day being a weekday. So let’s wait for tomorrow to see whether the film falls down in collections much due to business day or maintains its position in the race. This film is directed by Nikhil Advani and co-written by Umesh Bist, a remake of Subhash Ghai’s directed 1983 film of the same name, which starred Jackie Shroff. The film marks the debut of Sooraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi, and for Athiya Shetty. the daughter of Sunil Shetty.
