Hero (2015) 1st Day Occupancy Report- Opening Day Box Office Response

Hero 2015 First Day Occupancy Report

Hero which is a remake of the 1983 Subhash Ghai blockbuster has good chances of emerging a success. The opening is looking to be pretty good as against the costs which means most of the job is done when it comes to being a plus for the makers. But the main issue when producing a film with newcomers is not the film being a plus but appreciation and acceptance so that the industry gets new stars which is a rare commodity in the industry. The Salman Khan song Main Tera Hero is a hit which will ensure a start and most probably safety but the real battle is after the initial as the exercise won’t really be a success if the film does not sustain and gain appreciation. The only real negative for the film is the director who has a very bad track record with some major failures like Salaam E Ishq, Chandni Chowk To China and Patiala House all with big budgets and big stars. A smaller film like D Day was also a flop, the plus here is the film gets a lift as a big star like Salman Khan is the producer and with him promoting it gains awareness but finally its going to be the content which counts especially for the newcomers.
