Srimanthudu is directed by Koratala Siva & produced jointly by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan for Mythri Movie Makers. Riding on a huge amount of hype and promotions, “Srimanthudu” released in around 2000 cinema halls across the globe on 07th August 2015. The movie had huge amount of advance booking everywhere. Its Tamil versions registered 62% occupancy in almost all the regions, while its Telugu witnessed an average of 35% of footfalls on its opening day. The compilation of figures of its first day is still going on and makers are expected to reveal the numbers very soon. If we are to go by early estimates, the movie has grossed around 12-13 crore* at the global box office on the first day of its release.
