Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer “Drishyam” received average occupancy on its first day at the domestic box office. The film recorded eighth highest opening day box office collection this year. “Drishyam” had poor occupancy in the morning shows, but it showed growth in the evening shows. The occupancy rate increased in the evening shows due to rave reviews, which resulted in Rs 8.5 crore first day income and on second day the collection dropped down to 7.75 Crore*. But it seems that Sunday has in somewhat way resulting in a good turning point for the film as the third day performance of the movie is way cooler than was expected after seeing last 2 days mixed response.
