The growth was simply phenomenal. Anyhow Drishyam has made a good attempt on its 16th day of release and the film closed down at 1.22 Crores.* However this fact should also not be differentiated that Drishyam has came to a little down level due to tough competition form the current released movie Brothers that hit the box office on 14th August. As it is the latest film plus a Action film with superb star cast and promotion, so it is very obvious that Drishyam is going to face adverse affects form Brothers till its lifetime on the big screen. Film has much more to achieve in the coming days so we need to wait and watch performance of Drishyam in its third week. Although movie is receiving bit response from audience still the figures have been affected much from other releases. Thus, it can surely be said that Drishyam comes in the category of normal releases.
