Last year, Salman Khan swayed the box-office with his runaway hit Kick. For all those who were ‘kick-ed’ about the film’s sequel, here is some good news and that too from the horse’s mouth. After a year, the actor has finally announced the sequel to his 2014 blockbuster. Talking to a leading daily, Salman told that he is in talks with Sajid Nadiadwala who’s now busy scripting for the film and revealed that Kick 2 will have him play a double role, one more time Sajid Nadiadwala who had directed the original, also confirmed the same to the daily. “It’s a great story that needs to be told. I am working on the story line, which should be ready in two-three months. Then, we will decide on how and when to take it to the next level,” Nadiadwala told the daily. Confirming the news, Salman has said that director Sajid Nadiadwala is currently working on the film’s story. While in the original, he played dual avatars as well, it was the same character with two different shades to him. With Kick 2, the plot will be entirely different. Given the circumstances, the sequel to Kick will only start after Salman completes Sultan which is around mid next year. Although, he played a double role in “Karan Arjun” also, the roles were not simultaneous in the film. It’s interesting to note here that both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan featured in “Karan Arjun” and had double roles in the film. Interestingly, both Shah Rukh and Salman are now coming back with double roles in their respective upcoming films – SRK in “Fan” and Salman in “Kick” sequel. The movie “Kick” featured Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Salman but the sequel won’t have Jacqueline, as confirmed by Salman some days back. The full cast of the movie is yet to be finalised.
