Brothers 7th Day Box Office Collection
The box office collection of Karan Malhotra’s directorial film “Brothers” plunged more than 20% on its fifth day in India. “Brothers” starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra is an action drama. The film had built up good hype before releasing, but critics review played spoilsport. The negative reviews from critics affected the box office collection of the film. “Brothers” opened well on the first day, witnessed good jump on Saturday due to Independence Day holiday, but on Sunday the collection dropped and on Monday it crashed at the box office. The film, which raked in more than Rs 50 crore in its opening weekend, went on to collect Rs 6.23 crore on fourth day, Rs 5.11 crore on fifth day and 4.88 Crore on Sixth Day. Meanwhile, Sidharth, talking about the box office collection of his film “Brothers”, said that it encourages actors to perform better. Directed by Karan Malhotra and produced under Dharma Productions and Eros Now banner, the film also features Jackie Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez in prominent roles.
Brothers First Week Total Box Office Business
Following days did not seemed to be the same beneficiary as the weekend but in its journey of one week, movie has succeeded to entertain much of the audience & collected approx. 72.60 crores as one week collection including 7th day i.e. Thursday collection of 4.30 crores. There is drop in the week day collections for sure. The film needs to remain rock steady make a good collection of around 80 crores in the Second Weekend. First week collection of movie is still in the sole race on the box office & is on an approximate level good movie. Weekend was a hilarious amount, but from the very next day a gradual fall was seen which continued till now. Being a solo release, Brothers has a good chance to maintain its pace over the week. A solid second weekend can be expected from the film considering among this week’s films, Manjhi -The Mountain Man is in trouble due to it’s internet leak and All Is Well is quite low on the buzz.
