Brothers 15th Day Box Office Collection
“Brothers” clashed with new releases “All Is Well” and “MTMM”. The Akshay Kumar starrer raked in Rs 6.1 crore in its second weekend and Rs 3.50 crore during the weekdays. In its second week, the movie collected Rs 9.6 crore at the India box office, taking its 14-day domestic total to Rs 82.2 crore nett. His first two releases “Baby” and “Gabbar is Back” did well at ticket counters, but failed to cross the Rs 100-crore mark at the India box office. Having collected Rs 72.6 crore in the first week, “Brothers” was expected to achieve this magical figure in its second week. But “Brothers” failed, as it witnessed over 82% decline in collection in its second week. The movie needs Rs 17.80 crore to cross the magical mark.
Brothers 3rd Friday Business Report
With Saif Ali Khan’s “Phantom” released during its third, chances of the Akshay Kumar starrer entering the elite club look dim. However the collections and performance of the film is quite good and satisfactory. But this time, the audience was not much entertained by the expected opinions and results. Today it entered into third week and day being start of another weekend, 15th day amounted to collection of 70 lacs*. Even after release of new films in its second and now in third week, it is still in the race on the box office & is on an approximate level above average movie. The collection till now are not much attracting but are good figures. Opening was a hilarious amount, but from the very next day a gradual fall of around 30% was seen which continued till now. Being a lone racer on box office and failure of the previously released other films, all these advantages contributed much to the performance on box office by movie.
