Baahubali: The Beginning is a 2015 Indian bilingual epic historical fiction film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, it is the first of two cinematic parts. The film was simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam and French languages. Baahubali: The Beginning features an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Rana, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep appear in supporting roles. Baahubali: The Beginning, was made on a budget of Rs 120 crore. The first part, subtitled The Beginning, was released on 10 July 2015. The second part, subtitled The Conclusion is expected to be released in 2016. Morever, Baahubali The Conclusion was made on a Budget of Rs 130 crore. Baahubali: The Beginning grossed more than Rs 178 crore nett from all its versions in India in the first week. It added a further Rs 45 crore nett in its second weekend to take its total to around Rs 224 crore nett in ten days. The Hindi version grossed over Rs 40 crore nett in the Mumbai circuit. Baahubali grossed over Rs 113+ crore nett in 30 days from the Hindi version.

Baahubali: The Beginning collected around Rs 162 crore worldwide on its first weekend from all its versions, the third biggest ever for an Indian film. The film grossed around Rs 255 crore worldwide in the first week of its release. It became the first South Indian film to gross Rs 300 crore worldwide, reaching there in 9 days, and subsequently grossed Rs 401 crore worldwide in 15 days. And has successfully crossed Rs 500 crore mark in 24 days. At the end of 50 days, it earned Rs 580 crore* worldwide from all its versions. It has created many Box office Records. Highest grossing South Indian film in history, highest worldwide opening day gross with Rs 75 crore, highest worldwide opening weekend gross with Rs 169 crore, highest first week gross with Rs 265 crore, fastest Indian film to reach Rs 100 crore mark in just 2 days, Rs 200 crore mark in just 5 days, Rs 300 crore mark in just 8 days and highest gross Rs 113 crore for a film dubbed into Hindi.
