Baahubali 37th Day Box Office Collection
SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali” (also spelled as “Bahubali”) has set a new benchmark at Indian box office. The movie is now heading towards creating history at collection centres by reaching the Rs. 560 crore mark. “Baahubali”, which has grossed Rs. 556+ crore in 36 days worldwide, has reportedly touched Rs. 560 mark in 38 days. The trade experts predict that the film would reach the Rs.560-crore mark by the end of its sixth weekend. The movie has turned out to be a profitable venture for all the sectors (producer, distributor & exhibitor) of business. The Telugu distributors have made handsome money. The Tamil and Hindi versions have also done well. While the Hindi version has made Rs. 115+ crore* till date, the Tamil version has made about Rs. 65 crore*. The multilingual movie has managed to perform well despite facing competition from Bollywood biggie “Brothers”, starring Akshay Kumar, which was released this Friday. Tamil & Telugumovie “Srimanthudu”, starring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Hasaan, could not stop the dream run of “Baahubali”. “Baahubali” is made in two parts, the first instalment of which was released on 10 July. The two parts have been made with the budget of Rs. 250 crore (Rs.120+130 Crore).
Baahubali 6th Saturday Box Office Business
Anyhow, The film has minted Rs 30 lacs* on Sixth Saturday. Although the film’s collections have dropped in the coming days, it has managed to hold well on to good number of screens and remain steady at the box office. Baahubali has registered number of records to its account at box office, creating and breaking new records from the very first day of its release. It has made maximum records at box office in the history of Indian Cinema and become the biggest blockbuster of India. Everyone was just praising director S.S. Rajamouli for making such a great movie which has increased the standard of our movies in International market. Baahubali has been promoted on International level and being compared with Hollywood biggies such as 300, Hercules etc. because of its high quality VFX & war sequences. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamanna Bhatia in lead roles, with Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan playing key roles in the flick.
