All Is Well 5th Day Box Office Collection
Abhishek Bachchan starrer All Is Well has failed to impress the audience. The movie witnessed a fall in its Box Office collection on Monday that is on its fourth day, for obvious reasons. All Is Well did a business of Rs 2.10 crore at the Box Office on Monday. The total 4 days Box Office collection of the film is just Rs 14.01 crore. Abhishek Bachchan’s movie All Is Well made Rs 2.90 Crores on its opening day and showed some growth on its second day i.e Saturday. The film earned Rs 3.98 Crores on Saturday and 5.03 Crore on Sunday at the Indian Box Office. Today was its 5th day and it has experienced low response than yesterday; collected 1.75 crore* at the box office. However, it is expected that the movie will still make some profits as it is made with the budget of just Rs 28 crore, which it can easily recover from satellite rights and overseas distribution. All is Well had very high expections as the movie is directed by Umesh Shukla of Oh My God Fame. Unfortunately, Umesh had nothing new to offer with this Abhishek Bachchan and Asin starrer. Abhishek Bachchan’s All Is Well’s collections will drop more next week as Saif Ali Khan – Katrina Kaif’s Phantom is releasing on 28th.
Manjhi 5th Day Box Office Collection
Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer biopic ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’ box office collections have not been, well, mountainous. Far from it, in fact. Even though many were expecting an overwhelming response, ‘Manjhi’, released on August 21, earned just Rs 1.40 crore on Friday. Collections rose to Rs 2.35 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.70 crore on Sunday and Monday 1.10 crore, taking the overall domestic figure to Rs 7.55 crore. Today was the 5th Day and movie box office income to be around Rs 85 lacs* One reason behind this fiasco could be the leak of the final preview of the movie some 10 days before the official release. The film was downloaded and shared multiple times before it came to the notice of the producers. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui tried to rescue the situation and described the leaked version of the movie as a rough cut and asked people to watch the ‘real’ movie on the big screen. Based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi, a labourer from Gaya district who carved a path through a mountain using only hammer and chisel in the memory of his wife (played by Radhika Apte). ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’ is a low budget movie directed by Ketan Mehta.
