Continuing with its dream run at the box office, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali has broken even more records with its first week collections. If reports are to be believed, Baahubali has earned Rs 257 crore in its first seven days. SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali – the Beginning” (Bahubali) remained rock-steady at the box office on Tuesday, taking its worldwide gross collection beyond Rs 200 crore in five days. On Monday, “Baahubali – the Beginning” witnessed around 40% drop in its business when compared to its collection on the opening day. The movie, which saw decent advance bookings for its fifth day, got the same amount of response at ticket counters around the world on Tuesday. “Baahubali – the Beginning” ran to packed houses in almost all cities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Its Tamil version also got good response, with most of the cinema halls registering an average occupancy of 60% to 70% in Tamil Nadu. The Malayalam and Hindi versions of “Baahubali – the Beginning” did superb business on the Sixth day.

Baahubali Second Friday Box Office Business

All the four versions of the film did well in other parts of India and key international markets on Thursday. With such a wonderful one week performance on box office, even the 8th day has come out to be good business maker on the big screen. Anyhow it has not affected the income of movie too much and the total eighth day collection in India is 20.65 Crores* (All Versions). This is a good figure considering today start of second week i.e. 2nd Friday and also the weather of course. There is no any other movie in the competition of Baahubali except the Bollywood biggie Bajrangi Bhaijaan that hit the Indian theatres today. Bahubali, the blockbuster movie has really a pride of Indian cinema with such a unique story, outstanding cinematography and superb work from Prabhas. The film has a fantastic box office business throughout the second week.
