Baahubali 21st Day Box Office Collection
“Baahubali the Beginning” (Bahubali) starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty in leads, has grossed Rs 450 crore at the worldwide box office on its third Wednesday. The movie is estimated to have grossed approximately Rs 10 crore at the worldwide box office on its third Tuesday and its 19-day gross collection stood at Rs 445 crore. As per early trends, it raked in over Rs 5 crore gross in the three shows (Morning, Matinee and Evening) of the day. With this, the film has surpassed the mark of Rs 450 crore at the worldwide box office in 20 days. On its third Monday, the period film became the third all-time highest grosser Indian movie, beating the previous record of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Chennai Express”. We all know that it is now end of third week for Baahubali and the day being a weekday saw average occupancy of viewers in the cinema halls but still movie fared nice figures in its account by end of the day. Trade experts predicted that the S S Rajamouli-directed epic extravaganza would continue to do well and become the second all-time highest-grosser Indian movie, pushing down Aamir Khan’s “Dhoom 3” to the third spot.
Baahubali 3rd Thursday Box Office Business
But Salman Khan’s “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, which crossed the mark of Rs 450 crore on Tuesday, has pushed “Baahubali the Beginning” down to the fourth spot. Baahubali made a good start today and due to nice weather more viewers could be seen opting for watching movie today even after the day being a weekday. This resulted in a positive income of film and it made total business of around 4.56 Crores* on its 21st day of release. Total 3 weeks performance is outstanding and way beyond the reach most of the Tollywood films. It has done an overall business of nearly 455+ Crores* till; its 3rd week end. This clearly shows how much it has been loved by audience. However, “Baahubali” is a two-part movie made with a whopping budget of Rs 250 crore. The film has been simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed in Malayalam and Hindi. Its first part, title “Baahubali the Beginning”, fetched around 135 crore from the sale of its distributions rights. The film has collected around Rs 250 crore for its distributors, who are on cloud nine.
