Dil Dhadakne Do 7th Day Box Office Collection
“Dil Dhadakne Do” is emerging as yet another hit of the year. As per the latest reports, the film has managed to reach the Rs 50 crore mark in just six days. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has made Rs 4.48 crore on its first Wednesday and therefore the total collection in six days have reached Rs 52.39 crore. Meanwhile, trade analysts say that the collection of “DDD” has been impressive so far and the film has broken six days collection of “Piku” and “Badlapur“. “Piku”, starring Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, had collected Rs 37.87 crore whereas Varun Dhawan starrer “Badlapur’ had made Rs 33.91 crore at the domestic box office. The film was the only release last week and after receiving mixed reviews from the critics, Dil Dhadakne Do managed to maintain a good pace at the multiplexes. The urban centers have been particularly better.

Dil Dhadakne Do turned out to be a surprise with its performance since the film was being touted to be for a niche audience, its collections have been steady over the week. The film collected 4.02 crores on its first Thursday and now the film stands with a total collection of 56.41 crores at the domestic box office. With the latest numbers, the film is expected to break lifetime collections of Akshay Kumar movies like “Gabbar is Back” and “Baby”. “Dil Dhadakne Do”, which stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah in pivotal roles, was released in 2,300 screens across India. Director Zoya Akhtar was also appreciated for blending aesthetic and technical aspects in the right dose in the movie, thereby bringing out a complete entertainer. Made with a budget of Rs 85 crore, “DDD” is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banners of Junglee Pictures and Excel Entertainment.
