ABCD 2 Second Day Box Office Collection
Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s latest release has set the box office figures in a dance mode as they minted a little above Rs 14.30 crore on the first day. In doing so, the Remo D’Souza-directed film also recorded the highest opening day collection in 2015. The dance drama film has also found a favorable audience in North America, where a major chunk of the film was shot. Despite being released in the holy month of Ramzan, when a major chunk of audience stays away from movies, ABCD 2 biz grows in UAE-GCC. The film opened to mixed reviews on June 19, however, the critics have unanimously praised Varun for his performance. ABCD 2 is the sequel to ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, which was also a hit in 2013. The film is based on the story of ‘Fictitious Dance Group’. Anyhow, Despite heavy rains in Mumbai, mixed reviews and lesser number of screen counts, the film has opened well at both multiplexes and single screens. The film was released in approximately 2500 screens in India compared to “Gabbar Is Back” which was showcased in over 3000 screens.

ABCD 2 has recorded the highest opening day collections of the year, beating Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar Is Back. Akki’s Gabbar had raked in 13.05 crores on Day 1. The collections of the film could have been much much more, but the business in Mumbai was affected by torrential rains throughout the day. he film has got very good critics rating and after a long time audience are giveing outstanding response to this film.
