Latest Dance film “ABCD 2” (Any Body Can Dance 2) has surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office with its gross income. The film achieved the feat in less than a week. “ABCD 2” is Varun Dhawan’s first film to hit the century mark in India, while it is Shraddha Kapoor’s second film. After gross income, the film is now racing to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office with its net income. The film has, so far, raked in Rs 71.78 crore in seven days and since it’s the only big film in theatres this week, it will dominate the box office. Meanwhile, the film has finished its first week run in India with highest box office collection, beating “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” record. “ABCD 2” is now the sixth highest grosser of 2015. Movie by now has given us a fully fledged entertaining week with nice income and positive reviews from the viewers who have watched it, it seems that good word of mouth is working properly for ABCD 2.

By the end of yesterday, total 9th day i.e. Saturday income of ABCD 2 was mind blowing 5.77 Crores. Movie has been able to break the records of one week total collection of all movies by this year & named some good records to its side. With the end of its 9th working day, ABCD 2 registered decent increase in occupancy and overall income from not only domestic country but overseas screens also contributed nice part of the figures. Metro cities and north area sectors have registered highest response from the audience even after completion of one week of the movie. This indicates that audience is enjoying the movie and yet interested in watching it this second weekend. Reviews coming out are all positive and as is the performance chart in total 9 days journey. ABCD 2 manages to keep its pace in this weekend then it might cross 100 Cr mark till the end of its 2nd week from Indian screens.
